School Rubric is a great resource for educators. They have put together an article on improving the quality of instructional videos. My takeaway from this article: Show Your Face! Social distancing is hard on everyone. My middle schoolers are pining for interaction beyond their parents and some sense of normality. Seeing the face of their teacher (preferably live and on-demand) keeps students connected to the outside world in a meaningful way. My advice: Have Fun! Don’t feel like you need to become Steven Spielberg overnight!
