Inspired Classroom is a small Montana educational technology company with years of experience delivering great interactive distance learning through video conferencing technology.

With the current Covid-19 pandemic closing institutions and teachers transitioning to remote teaching, we would like to offer a slate of live, virtual workshop sessions. Our focus for these sessions is best practices for remote teaching and learning integrating technology tools into a blended learning experience with Zoom video conferencing.

The goal of these sessions is to build instructor confidence and create a learning experience that is rich, interactive, high quality and valuable to your students.

Practice with Zoom

Let your educators practice connecting, sharing their screen, changing settings, using the polling feature, chatbox, and breakout rooms as well as basic technical troubleshooting before students are on the other end. This course: builds educator confidence, creates a safe environment for experimentation, creates a higher level of engagement with students.

Building a blended Classroom

This session will introduce educators to the concept of a blended classroom.  Blended classrooms are proven to be the most effective and best practice for remote teaching and learning. Educators will learn how and when to divide their course material between synchronous and asynchronous, programs to support asynchronous learning, and tips on efficiency and effectiveness.

Ideas for Grade Band Teaching— K-12 Specific

Inspired Classroom will work with specific grade band teams to develop a blended learning plan that is and developmentally appropriate.  We will work with educators to implement the plan and provide support as they get up and running.

Ideas for Labs and Discussion Groups

This session will cover how to use technology to make participant-driven courses interactive on-line. The session will provide suggestions for resources developed specifically for this purpose and the use of integrated technologies that bring learning to life. Review and practice of the Zoom platform will be incorporated into this session as well as course-specific Q&A for educators.
